Mondottica USA to Launch Quiksilver Optical Eyewear & Sunwear Spring 2022

(PRESS RELEASE) WARREN, NJ — Mondottica USA announced a multi-year license agreement with Boardriders for the design, production, and distribution of Quiksilver prescription frames and prescription sunglasses for the optical channel in the United States, Latin America and Caribbean. As an extension of the long-term strategy of Mondottica USA, the alliance with Boardriders marks a welcomed addition of an active lifestyle brand with strong consumer appeal in the US and Latin America.

Since 1969, Quiksilver has combined function, fit, art and fashion for mountain and ocean lovers across the globe. Boardriders is a leading action sports and lifestyle company that designs, produces, and distributes branded apparel around the world. The Boardriders culture represents a casual lifestyle for young-minded people who are inspired by a passion for outdoor action board sports.

Commenting on the new license agreement, Mondottica USA’s Phil Turnage, who maintains a leadership role with the company states: “We are elated to announce the partnership between Mondottica USA and Boardriders with their iconic brand, Quiksilver. We are thrilled to welcome this collection into our diverse portfolio as we further develop the opportunity within the young active market segment backed by a strong notable brand.”

Quiksilver will launch in the Spring of 2022 with 20 men’s optical styles and 8 men’s polarized prescription sun styles. Soon to follow will be 8 Quiksilver youth styles ready for back-to-school.
