National Vision’s Largest-Ever Symposium Celebrates Optometrist Achievements

(PRESS RELEASE) CHICAGO – National Vision Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: EYE), one of the nation’s largest optical retailers providing quality, affordable eye care and eyewear, hosted nearly 900 optometrists from its affiliated practices during the company’s annual Continuing Education Symposium, June 2 – 5, and recognized many for their notable tenure and accomplishments.

More than 100 optometrists at the symposium had spent at least five years practicing in the National Vision network, together amassing 900 years of dedication to their practices. Special honors were awarded to the following six doctors who have each dedicated a quarter-century to caring for patients in the network:

  • Brian Cohen, OD – Baltimore, Md.
  • Donald Schaag, OD – Kansas City, Mo.
  • John Bankowski, OD – Washington, D.C.
  • Jona Pradhan, OD – Glendale, Ariz.
  • Mark Schneider, OD – Colonie, N.Y.
  • Robert Elliott, OD – Seattle, Wash.

Additionally, nine doctors were honored with the Optometrist of the Year Award for providing quality patient care and outstanding contributions to their practices. These included:

  • Carla Anderson, OD – Atlanta, Ga.
  • Christina Isaman, OD – Kent, Ohio
  • Diana Tran, OD – Hybla Valley, Va.
  • Lan Le, OD – Indianapolis, Ind.
  • Michele Roberts, OD – Morrow, Ga.
  • Natalie Nguyen, OD – Santa Ana, Calif.
  • Sandra Barthram, OD – Aurora, Colo.
  • Shane Tseng, OD – Houston, Texas
  • Sheldon Hallstrom, OD – Ithaca, N.Y.
  • Stacy Bragg, OD – Sacramento, Calif.
