Oregon Eyecare Office Suffers 4th Break-In of 2021

An OD’s office Portland, OR, has been burglarized for the fourth time this year.

Moreland Vision Source has lost about $50,000 in merchandise in the burglaries, KPTV reports. That’s in addition to $10,000 in repair costs and security upgrades.

Dr. Scott Wojciechowski said he never experienced a break-in before during his nearly three decades with the business.

He told the news outlet: “We weren’t prepared. We didn’t have all the proper security measures.”

Since the break-ins, laminate glass has been added, and surveillance cameras are planned.

Among the items stolen have been frames and sunglasses, including Ray-Bans.
