RestoringVision to Launch New Lens on Life Campaign on the Biggest Day of Global Giving, GivingTuesday

(PRESS RELEASE)SAN FRANCISCO, CA — RestoringVision invites all to be vision champions during the largest day of global giving this November 29 – #GivingTuesday – to support a noble cause and a profoundly ambitious goal: to raise $750,000 so that together, we can empower thousands of more lives with the gift of clear vision before year’s end.

Thanks to matching gift sponsor 20/20 Quest, a National Vision, Inc. foundation, the first $50,000 raised during RestoringVision’s New Lens on Life Campaign will be doubled, making twice the impact.

Every dollar donated to RestoringVision will help provide a vision screening and a pair of eyeglasses to a person living on less than $2 a day.

“When we create access to vision services, we’re not just restoring a person’s vision,” said Pelin Munis, CEO, RestoringVision. “We’re giving them a new lens on life: restoring their confidence, their educational and economic opportunities, and empowering individuals across the globe to unlock their full potential.”

Early giving is now open, so all are encouraged to give the gift that keeps on giving: clear vision. RestoringVision is already on track to reach 3.5 million people living in extreme poverty this year alone. With the help of new donors today, on #GivingTuesday, and beyond, we will reach thousands more.

Be a vision champion: donate here and share your support on social media.
