Special Edition Rudy Project Sunglasses Celebrates Pro Cycling Team’s Success

(Press Release)
DENVER – The Etixx – Quick-Step Pro Cycling Team has teamed up with cycling eyewear crafters Rudy Project to launch two new special edition glasses celebrating its achievements at the 2016 Tour de France. First debuted by the riders in early July, the special edition Tralyx performance and Spinhawk casual models are now available to consumers.

The Etixx – Quick-Step riders were the first to debut the limited edition color scheme of the Tralyx model at this year’s Tour de France. In addition to the blue and yellow combination, the sunglass comes standard with the new Tralyx XL lens. Featuring a longer lens profile and additional ventilation along the bottom edge, the Tralyx XL is designed for larger faces and those looking for more coverage.

Worn by rider Julian Alaphilippe, the Spinhawk is Rudy’s top-selling casual sunglass and was the ideal model to redesign for with Etixx – Quick-Step’s signature graphics. The sunglass features a sturdy crystal frame and unique multilaser orange lenses.

Currently, Dan Martin sits in a top 10 position for the yellow (leader) jersey, while sprinter Marcel Kittel holds tight to third in the race for the green (points) jersey. The 2016 Tour de France will conclude on Sunday, July 24.

The Special Edition Etixx – Quick-Step Tralyx and Spinhawk models are available on e-rudy.com.
