(PRESS RELEASE) SAN DIEGO, CA – In what has become the eyewear industry’s most high-energy and fun-loving award ceremony, the Annual SportRx Awards, or better known as the “REXYS,” returned for a second year of high-fives, belly laughs, and late night celebration of outstanding design in performance eyewear.
SportRx, the leading provider of high-quality performance prescription eyewear, hosted the Second Annual REXY Award event in recognition of outstanding product quality, design, and innovation across 16 different sport optical categories. Within every award category, four nominees competed with just one top winner taking home the coveted REXY. REXY winners are selected based on a combination of sales data, customer reviews, and the expertise of SportRx Opticians.
Strolling down the red carpet at the 2019 REXY Awards were representatives from the eyewear industry’s top brands, clad in formalwear and ready for celebration. “A person’s eyewear is the first thing they put on in the morning and the last thing they take off at night,” says Rob Tavakoli, SportRx vice president. “It’s high time we celebrate and honor the best brands and frames in the business.”
