Stefano Barizza Named Head of Design & Katharina Schlager the New Creative Director

(PRESS RELEASE) HARTBERG – Stefano Barizza was namend the new Head of Design at the eyewear brand ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR. The native Italian comes from the Michael Pachleitner Group and has been working for international eyewear companies for over 22 years. Barizza has many years of industry expertise and will lead the ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR design team in the future.

Stefano Barizza began his career in Italy working at Safilo Group as Senior Product Industrialization Manager, where he was in charge of eyewear brands like Gucci, YSL, Bottega Veneta and Boucheron. Following this, Barizza worked for the luxury eyewear brand

Alain Mikli as Head of Product Development, before he worked most recently at Michael Pachleitner Group as Head of Design.

Starting September 2018, Barizza will be the new Head of Design at ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR and is in charge of the design department. Katharina Schlager, CEO and former Head of Design, will lead the company as Creative Director in the future. “We are excited to welcome Stefano Barizza to the ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR team. His exceptional vision for design and international experience are going to play an important part in developing our brand.” says Katharina Schlager. “ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR has rapidly grown over the last years and besides our factory in Hartberg, we acquired a second manufactory in St. Pierre, France. Additionally, we opened a new creative office in Berlin, started the subsidiary in New York and expanded the headquarter in Hartberg.”

Restructuring the human resources by adding Stefano Barizza is a strategically important step to guarantee future development. Katharina Schlager: “In Stefano Barizza we have found someone who understands the world of ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR and who will support us with his vision in the future.”
