CRAFTED TO BE COOL

Singer-guitarist Lukas Nelson wears model V792 from JOHN VARVATOS. Structured with etched cable wiring and temple tips, this design showcases vintage-inspired teardrop lenses for an edgy, artsy and classically cool look. Available in antique gold and gunmetal. MSRP: $295, remeyewear.com

DASHING DETAILS
The Stanley by ORIGINAL PENGUIN is part of an extensive men’s eyewear collection for this stylish men’s fashion label. As envisioned by Kenmark product designer Jason Wehlage, these frames reflect color and detailing from the apparel line, such as tiny stripes evident on the inside of the nose pads. Hues are modern and expressive; choose classics or trendy transparent tones such as rifle green (shown) or cherry tomato. MSRP: $148, kenmarkoptical.com

OUT OF THE WOODS
Wood is one of the trendiest materials in eyewear today. PROOF EYEWEARr has launched its Rx Collection with strong, prescription-ready six-ply wood designs. The Pledge in Earthtone is an excellent example of the designs in the collection, combining quality, style, value and sustainability in one modern, fashion-oriented product. MSRP: $150 iwantproof.com

PRETTY IN PINK
LUXOTTICA has rolled out its first DISNEY collection, including model 03E1005, a semi-rimless cat’s-eye model featuring Rapunzel. In all, there are eight styles for girls and six for boys, featuring classic Disney characters and sturdy construction for kids: think spring hinges, screwed-on nose pads, and no pesky choking hazards. MSRP: $99, luxottica.com

BACK TO THE FUTURA
n celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary, SILHOUETTE is showing off its Futura Anniversary Collection, an exciting update of the cult favorite first developed in 1974. The original Futura design was made with a stiff and heavy acetate. A 2004 redesign eliminated screws and hinges for a sleek aesthetic, but kept the rim. Now comes this high-fashion, high-tech interpretation — the embodiment of Silhouette’s minimalist design ethic — in an ultramodern frame that is practically weightless. Produced in SPX+, a special polymer composite with elastic qualities, it needs no screws or hinges. MSRP: Contact Silhouette for prices at (800) 223-0180, silhouette.com

STYLE TO GO
The GS108S / Compact Faeroes from G-STAR RAW is one of a family of easy-to-use foldable sunglasses. A square aviator shape with classic lines and slim metal temples, this style features signature G-Star screws at the hinge and rubber temple tips with the G-Star logo and cut-out. A knockout choice for style and practicality. MSRP $226, marchon.com

BOHEMIAN NOSTALGIA
As a salute to the artists, authors, musicians and other adventurous souls who go their own way, ØRGREEN OPTICS offers Bohemian, a slim titanium design with delicate curves, compact proportions and an elegant brow line. With seven balanced colorways (model 494 in matte black/shiny gold is seen here), this is a high-fashion look at home anywhere. Distributed through Incite International. MSRP: $450, orgreenoptics.com

COLOR POPS
Colorthin CALVIN KLEIN presents fantastic pops of favorite fashion tones with a soft, matte-coated finish in a feather-light design. Excellent memory form and resistance to cracking complete the picture of functionality in this new made-in-Italy collection. A must for the young crowd. MSRP: $182.50, marchon.com

CAT’S-EYE CHIC
The cat’s-eye continues to be a winner for women this season. Model Napoli in the ELLEN TRACY collection offers clean, sculpted lines in a lightweight frame that’s big on style and flattering for all occasions. The jewel-tone ombre colorations include ocean-inspired azure, classic brown and soft plum. MSRP: $180, cvoptical.com
