The Vision Council Announces 2 More Keynote Speakers for 2023 Executive Summit

(PRESS RELEASE) ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Vision Council announces two additional keynote speakers—Johnny Taylor Jr., President & CEO of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Jade Simmons, rockstar concert pianist —for the upcoming 2023 Executive Summit, taking place January 9–11, 2023 at a new host site, the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, an iconic Texas Hill Country luxury resort just outside of downtown Austin, Texas.

Johnny Taylor, Jr. is a global leader on the future of employment, culture and leadership, and the author of the national bestseller, RESET: A Leader’s Guide to Work in an Age of Upheaval, which delivers a candid and forward-thinking vision for leaders to reimagine their company cultures in a time of global upheaval and presents data-driven strategies to make the necessary foundational reset of all things work. During the Executive Summit, Taylor will share insights on how to “reset” internal structure and procedures in the aftermath of the pandemic. Simmons’ keynote at The Executive Summit—“Purpose…The Remix: Unleashing the Rhythm of Impact”—will offer a unique musical experience as she helps attendees reimagine, reconnect with, and reignite their own purpose.

In addition to Taylor and Simmons, additional keynote speakers planned for The Vision Council’s Executive Summit include:

  • Colin Bryar and Bill Carr, Former Amazon Executives, Authors, and Co-Founders, Working Backwards, LLC, will illuminate Amazon’s leadership principles that inform decision-making and reveal characteristics that define the company’s culture.

Over the course of three days, The Executive Summit will illuminate the state of the industry, spotlight key business trends and present concrete approaches to confronting the evolving challenges of the marketplace through a robust schedule of engaging presentations, interactive panels and personalized networking sessions. Furthermore, there will be ample opportunities for cultivating relationships with industry peers via dedicated networking time and activities on-site, including the return of the golf tournament and a new pickleball tournament.
