Tura Has a New Design Showroom in NYC Fashion District

Tura recently opened a state-of-the-art design studio and showroom in Manhattan’s Bryant Park neighborhood, the epicenter of New York’s fashion industry.

The new office located on the 21st floor of 989 Avenue of the Americas includes a custom built showroom and sunlit design studio with views of the Empire State Building and Bryant Park. It houses the company’s executives, along with the product design and marketing teams. Tura Inc.’s customer service, warehouse, distribution center, finance and administration offices will remain in Muncy, PA.

This move provides the team with an inspirational environment to support the ongoing development of innovative products and new creative collaborations. The relocation to the Bryant Park neighborhood was timed with the Tura’s 2014 marketing campaign emphasizing the brand’s fashion legacy and core values.

“One of our main goals was to anchor our creative team in the heart of New York’s fashion industry,”  says Tura Inc.’s CEO Scott Sennett. “Another goal was to provide an inspiring environment for our customers, business partners and sales associates to fully explore our collections and to connect more closely with us in a central location.”

Tura Inc., founded in 1938, was among the first brands to position eyewear as a fashion accessory as well as a medical device. Today, the company employs more than 200 people in North America. Its portfolio includes Tura, Ted Baker, Lulu Guinness, TITANflex, Bogner, Brendel, crush, Geoffrey Beene, and Humphrey’s.
