Von Miller Raises Over $300,000 at His 3Rd Annual ‘A Night to Take Flight’ Event In Colorado

(PRESS RELEASE) DENVER, CO — On Monday, July 11th two-time Super Bowl world champion, Denver Broncos football legend, and current Buffalo Bills defensive end, Von Miller, returned to the Mile High City to host his 3rd annual ‘A Night to Take Flight’ fundraising event at Jet Linx Aviation in Centennial, Colorado. The event was presented by Hero Practice Services and Schomp Subaru.

Von was joined by his friends and current members of the Denver Broncos: Bradley Chubb, Brandon McManus, Albert Okwuegbunam, and McTelvin Agim.

Guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour on the tarmac as they took pictures and received signed memorabilia from Von and their favorite Broncos players in attendance.

The event program kicked off with Von welcoming all his guests to his 3rd annual Night to Take Flight and expressing his appreciation for the continued support that he has in Colorado. Although Von is no longer a Denver Bronco, he stated, “I still have orange and blue in my heart… I love Colorado”. Von and the Broncos players in attendance then took the stage to auction off their signed jerseys.

The event Emcee, Brandon Krtisztal, from KOA Colorado, had a sit-down Q&A session with Von during the event where Von talked about the 10th anniversary of Von’s Vision Foundation, the impact of the Foundation over the years, and the upcoming plans for his charity foundation, which is to expand the foundation’s programming into rural cities of Colorado to make free eye exams and fashionable glasses more accessible to children in need.

All net proceeds from Von Miller’s A Night to Take Flight will benefit Von’s Vision and its mission of providing low-income students with eye examinations and fashionable, corrective eyewear they need to be their best in the classroom and in life. Since its inception, Von’s Vision has provided over 8,500 students with free eye exams and fashionable glasses across 19 cities in 9 different states. The Foundation will continue to serve nationwide with Colorado being its home base.
