Altair Eyewear and Draper James Announce Renewal of Exclusive Eyewear Licensing Agreement

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Altair Eyewear, Inc., a division of Marchon Eyewear, Inc. and a subsidiary of VSP Vision, and Draper James, the Southern-inspired lifestyle brand founded by Reese Witherspoon, announced the long-term, multi-year renewal of their eyewear licensing agreement.

This agreement is for the exclusive design, development, production, and distribution of ophthalmic and sunglass collections under the Draper James brand. This renewal confirms the strong alliance between the two companies since Altair and Draper James first engaged as licensing partners in 2018. Over the years eyewear has grown alongside its parent brand’s successful trajectory, taking cues from the vibrant, upbeat ready-to-wear and accessories collections, celebrating femininity with a contemporary take on Southern charm. Notable design details featured in the eyewear styles include signature striping, magnolia florals and gingham print – charming details which complement the brand’s essence and approach.

“We are incredibly proud and excited to continue our successful partnership with Draper James,” said Thomas Burkhardt, senior vice president of Global Brands, Marketing & Design of Marchon Eyewear, Inc. “Draper James is a brand that stands out in the Altair portfolio, offering customers stylish, feminine frames by a brand they recognize and love.”

“Draper James is thrilled to continue our partnership with Altair, and to keep offering our customers best in quality and design eyewear. We love dressing our customers from head to and we’re looking forward to continuing to creating fun and refreshed eyewear designs with Altair that align with all our future collections to come,” Erin Moennich, Draper James CEO.

Draper James eyewear is sold in select optical retailers and online at draperjames.com and eyeconic.com.
