Apple Retail Workers Sue Over Security Checks

Class action suit says employees are kept up to 20 minutes for bag searches after clocking out.

A federal judge has reportedly ruled that Apple will have to defend itself in a class-action suit brought by thousands of retail employees claiming that company keeps them as long as 20 minutes to search their bags for stolen merchandise after the end of the workday. The trial is set for January 25 in San Francisco federal court.
