De Rigo REM Names Senior Director of Key Accounts

(PRESS RELEASE) SUN VALLEY, CA – De Rigo REM announces the addition of Talia Bruno as the senior director of key accounts. In her new position, Bruno will lead the development and alignment of the key account channel as well as play a vital role in cultivating new business opportunities and aiding the corporate sales strategy to drive revenue and growth for North America.

A rising star in the optical community, Bruno is no stranger to eyewear and has held senior level positions at both MODO and Luxottica USA since entering the industry in 2008. Most recently, Bruno served as the key account sales director at MODO, where she was an integral part of the leadership team. With both a strategic and entrepreneurial approach, she was successful in rapidly developing and growing their key account business that resulted in double digit sales growth year over year. Prior to that, she joined Luxottica and quickly rose through the ranks from a regional account manager to the senior manager of key accounts. Within this role, she effectively managed their top national customers and continuously exceeded sales goals, earning her the President’s Circle Award three years in a row.

“I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work alongside Talia at Luxottica and watch her blossom into one of the top key account leaders in the industry. She is a trailblazer with an eye for excellence and to see the business she built from the ground up is truly remarkable,” said Alessandro Baronti, president of De Rigo REM. “With her high level understanding of the business and exceptional track record in and outside of eyewear, I have no doubt that she is the perfect candidate to take our company to new heights.”

Getting her start in the consumer package goods industry, Bruno adds a unique perspective to the role with a diverse background in sales. Before crossing over into eyewear, she held positions at Fortune 500’s Miller Coors Brewing as well as A.T. Cross, both globally recognized companies.

“Understanding De Rigo’s vision for the US and Canadian markets and seeing the tremendous strides they are making to elevate the business, I knew I couldn’t pass on the opportunity to be a part of something special,” said Bruno. “I’m excited to join the team during this crucial yet exciting phase and look forward to growing with the company.”
