Despite 117-Degree Heat, Line for Trunk Show Stretches Around Practice’s Building

 

More than 100 patients were seen in five hours.

A trunk show hosted by Family Eyecare of Glendale, AZ was a “big hit” in spite of the temperature climbing to 117 degrees, the Daily Optician writes. The article says that by the time the business opened its doors, “there was a line already stretched around the building.” The practice – which kept everyone cool by teaming with a local ice cream parlor to provide Italian ice – saw more than 100 patients in five hours as it offered deals on designer frames and Zeiss lenses.
