Etsy Pushes Eyewear Discounts on the Road

What happens if the temperature hits 100?

Unlike several other major online merchants, Etsy has not yet opened an actual store. But it has an Airstream loaded with discounted Ray-Bans, and is sending it on the road for appearances this week in the New York City and Montauk. Attendees will receive discounts depending on the temperature that day; if the temperature reaches 88 degrees, for example, the discount is 88 percent.
