ESP states on its website that it “provides its ophthalmologic, optometric and ambulatory surgery center partners financial liquidity and risk mitigation while navigating the complex and constantly changing healthcare landscape.”

Neal was previously CEO of Access Dental, a dental services organization that was recently sold by Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the vision industry, specifically in ophthalmology.

He was CEO of TLC Laser Vision Centers and led the organization through a period of growth in the North American LASIK industry.

Prior to TLC, Neal was division vice president of global sales and marketing for Abbott Medical Optics, where he led commercial operations globally for the cataract/refractive surgical businesses and contact lens and vision care product portfolios. Before AMO, he was a senior executive at Alcon.

“It is great to be back in the vision industry leading an organization that is bringing together some of the country’s best optometric and ophthalmic practices along with ambulatory surgery centers specializing in eye care,” Neal said.

“ESP is a unique and exciting company with tremendous potential as a national leader in integrated eye care services.”
