Somewhere in Seattle, there is a thief with a purloined pair of sunglasses and a heavy heart. A few weeks ago, he or she broke into a parked car and swiped the glasses, which were sitting on top of a lottery ticket. That ticket, which the thief didn’t take, was good for a million-dollar prize.
