L’Amy America Introduces New Tweens By Champion

(PRESS RELEASE) NORWALK, CT – L’Amy America, one of the world’s leading accessory companies, announces the launch of two new tween-sport styles by Champion Athleticwear, makers of authentic athletic apparel since 1919. “Gordi” and “Jal” bring fresh shapes and signature athletic colorations to Champion’s ever-growing youth segment.

With unisex appeal and sport attitude this new duo feature Champion’s own “180 Hinge Technology.” This heavy duty spring hinge system allows the temple to flex 180 degrees perpendicular to the frame front, providing additional frame flexibility, long-wear comfort, and a more customized fit.

“Champion Athleticwear offers a complete assortment targeting the needs of the Tween patient who has an active lifestyle and to whom brand is quite important” said L’Amy Director of Lifestyle Brands, Connie Reiss.

“The Champion brand has the highest social media consumer engagement level of all sport brands in the USA. Proof positive of its brand power among younger generations” said Reiss.

“Gordi”, a bi-layer, handmade acetate fits a multitude of face shapes with sport-rectangle flair. Sport color combinations like bold black & white, or darkest navy & scarlet, feature the iconic “C” logo reminding all that it “takes a little more to make a Champion.”

“Jal”, a modernized aviator, in handmade acetate, is also a perfectly unisex option. Signature color offerings like matte black and team read, or matte olive and team blue make a one-of-a-kind athletic statement.

Both models are offered in 4 colors each and are fully supported by a complete range of visual display options and a library of lifestyle and frame imagery.
