New Program Brings Together Leaders in Optometry, Ophthalmology

It’s called Eye Care Visionaries.

DURHAM, NC and KOLOA, HI — Eye Care Leaders, a provider of practice performance solutions for ophthalmologists and optometrists, announced the launch of Eye Care Visionaries, a program bringing together leaders in ophthalmology and optometry to tackle hurdles faced by eyecare practices.

Eye Care Visionaries establishes a member-only peer network dedicated to furthering the eyecare profession through unique insights, tools and innovation. The initiative launched on Jan. 18 at Hawaiian Eye 2017, where Eye Care Visionaries hosted its inaugural event, “Take the Lead: Comply & Thrive by Transforming Regulations from Burden to Benefit.”

“We are thrilled to launch Visionaries with ‘Take the Lead,’ an important conversation that truly underscores the hurdles our industry faces and the solutions that this exciting initiative is all about,” said Jim Alland, president of Eye Care Leaders. “We believe looking within the eyecare industry, bringing together the most forward-thinking and insightful individuals through the Visionaries program will result in not only connecting eye care leaders to each other, but also will develop real solutions to the most difficult problems practices and physicians deal with every day.”

Through the members-only Visionaries program, participants will have opportunities to network with other providers, administrators and industry leaders both in-person and through online forums. In addition, members will have access to exclusive content such as benchmarking data and whitepapers through a dedicated website, offering insights and ideas to help practices improve their performance and profitability.
