New Tinted Sunglasses Promise to Instagram the World

They’re not rose-colored exactly, but the effect is the same.

The filtering technology that gives Instagram photos that lovely golden haze is available in sunglasses undergoing tests by a British team. Crowd-source funding has been brisk for a product called Tens, which is raising money with promotional videos that depict a wearer who says she feels happy with the glasses on, and upset when she sees the world as it actually is. The founders explain that their project sprung from a desire to perfect real-life vision the same way they perfected scenes in their former work as filmmakers and photographers. The company plans to ship its first batch of frames in June.
