I love all the great ideas. I try to read it cover to cover each month. I’ve been in the business for over 30 years and still learn from your magazine. I love all the great ideas, to do lists, seeing what’s fresh and new in frames, etc. — Lorie Fox, Bakersfield Eye Care, Bakersfield, CA
I really enjoy your magazine! — Sonja Franklin, OD, Modern Eyes, Austin, TX
I love receiving your magazine! Read it cover to cover, always a joy to read! — Pablo E Mercado, Highland Eye Boutique, Atlanta, GA
I would like to see a deep dive into some of the less pleasant sides of the optical business. Your work family is typically quite close, and when someone falls ill or passes away, how does that affect the group? What can the business do to be sure it can move forward during trying times? I’ve had to really think hard lately about my limitations and it’s created an urgency to make sure everything is automated and people are cross-trained. It’s also extremely important then to be sure they feel how much I appreciate them. — Nikki DeMeglio, EyeStyles Optical, Oakdale, MN
EDITOR’S NOTE:Thank you for sharing Nikki. It’s a great idea and we’ll figure out how to work this into our future story planning!
