Resilience of Eye Care Providers To Take Center Stage at Virtual SHiFT Event

(PRESS RELEASE) RANCHO CORDOVA, CA — VSP Global announced that SHiFT, which brings together doctors across the country participating in the VSP Global Premier Program, will be held virtually Feb. 26-27, 2021. In the midst of a global pandemic when access to essential health care, including eye care, remains the priority, it has never been more important to support and celebrate the optometric community.

The robust, interactive, two-day experience, focused on acknowledging and honoring doctors for their commitment to deliver exceptional patient care throughout the pandemic, offers practical tools and resources to boost business recovery and small group breakout networking opportunities in a time when personal interactions are limited. This year’s SHiFT meeting follows sustained support from the Premier Program throughout 2020, including the recent launch of a national marketing campaign designed to encourage VSP members to choose a practice participating in the Premier Program for their eye care needs. In addition, the COVID-19 Patient Care Grant Program saw more than 8,700 eligible VSP network practices receive a one-time cash grant to help offset expenses of the pandemic.
