Wiley X Strengthens Senior Leadership Team to Align with a Promising New Direction

(PRESS RELEASE) FRISCO, TX — Premium protective eyewear brand Wiley X announced changes to its senior leadership structure that will help the company reach its full potential in the eyewear market. Co-Owners and brothers Myles Jr. and Dan Freeman maintain senior leadership positions, with Dan Freeman now stepping into the role of CEO of Wiley X.

The decision to appoint Dan Freeman as CEO reflects a commitment to continued growth and success; with Dan’s extensive experience in the eyewear industry and proven leadership skills – helping to grow Wiley X into what it is today – he is well-equipped to guide the company into the future.

Myles Jr. will now focus on the brand’s growth internationally, working from both Wiley X headquarters in Frisco, and the company’s Denmark office, to focus on the European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets. The move was made to strengthen the sales and leadership presence in a key, growing market for the brand. Myles Jr. will also be heading up the company’s philanthropic efforts; he will identify potential strategic partnerships on an ongoing basis, working to build and maintain relationships with select charities and other worthy organizations.

Wiley X also announced the hire of Spencer Mitchell as the company’s new CFO. Spencer’s extensive experience in finance and operations – with a proven track record of success at companies such as Niemann Marcus and Palomar Beverage Company – will bring a fresh perspective and valuable insights to the company, driving financial stability and growth.

The company also brought in eyewear industry veteran Aaron Quigley as the new Senior Vice President of Sales. Aaron brings a wealth of experience and success in sales, with previous experience as a consultant for various action sports and fashion brands, as well as over a decade at Oakley. Aaron’s ability to lead a sophisticated sales team and drive measurable results will be invaluable to the company as it continues to expand.

“We couldn’t be more excited to implement these changes to our senior leadership structure,” said Myles Jr. “My close working relationship with Dan and our shared vision for the company will ensure a seamless transition into this new executive team, with two key new hires.” Dan added: “These moves are a positive step for Wiley X and its future success. The end goal, as always, will be to provide the absolute best, premium product and service to our customers in new and existing markets.”
