Wiley X to Relocate HQ to Texas from California

Wiley X is building a new global headquarters in Frisco, TX.

The protective eyewear maker, which has 100 employees, is moving from Livermore, CA, in the Bay Area.

The new location, which will include manufacturing and distribution operations, is in the Star Business Park, D Magazine reports. Wiley X recently broke ground on the property.

Community Impace Newspaper reports that the company landed a $371,800 performance agreement with the Frisco Economic Development Corp.

“Wiley X is committed to piloting smart and sustained growth for many years to come, and a central location like Texas is a prime place to call home for our brand,” Dan Freeman, co-owner of Wiley X, was quoted saying.

The company’s goal is to move into the space next year.
