An Ohio OD Who’s ‘Never Worked A Day In His Life’ Leans Into His Faith, His Staff and His Family

As Mark Twain said, “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” That rings true for Dr. Ken Boltz, who says one of his favorite things about running his business is “being blessed with a job that I love that makes coming to my office a pleasure. It never gets old!” A lot of that pleasure comes from working with his “spectacular staff” and “helping patients by giving them the best exam, glasses (and/or contact lenses) and best overall experience they have ever had at an optometrist’s office.” But it’s not without its burdens; not enough time in the day, COVID closures and restrictions, and insurance can take their toll. “I always say ‘if I could just give patients what they need without worrying about cost or coverage, life would be a lot easier.’” But at the end of the day he’s got all these ways to deal with the stress…
