An Orlando Owner Who Started Her Biz Shortly Before the Pandemic, Moved Locations During and Is Still Thriving

Verbelee Nielsen-Swanson
Oxford Eyes, Orlando, FL

When in Orlando, we have to feature a great Orlando ECP! Enter Verbelee Nielsen-Swanson and Oxford Eyes. One of our America’s Finest, she built a start-up, independent business right before the pandemic hit… and is loving every minute of it. “Building a successful start-up business, telling our story and curating a unique selection of independent frames,” is one of her favorite parts of her business… “Experiencing a pandemic in our second year and relocating was exciting but challenging.” Luckily, she has an “amazing and experienced optical team that is committed to an exceptional client experience,” a husband and friends she connects with on her drive home each day, and before leaving her office, she “reflects on the successes of the day, puts together a “To-Do” for the next one and spends a few minutes enjoying the lake view during sunset.”
