True Tales

Got to Love Entitled Patients!

A lady yelled at us because we could not fix a broken frame she purchased in another state years ago. She bought a new pair from us, but they had not yet arrived from the lab and she was due to start a job the next day, so her old glasses became our issue. We called her the next day to tell her that her new glasses were ready. She called the following day and yelled at us again because “Your hours don’t work for me!” She had slept in and had to rush to work so she could not pick them up until after 8 pm. We had no solution for her … except to encourage her to come during business hours … perhaps before work. — Star Taylor, Richens Eye Center, St George, UT
