A California OD Who Is All Business … with a Side of Glitter!

Don’t let the festive glitter fool you, Dr. Mei Fleming is all business. When asked her favorite parts of running her business, she cut right to the chase: “1. Learning and growing as an entrepreneur. 2. Offering advanced dry eye and eye aesthetics. 3. Curating eyewear.” After all, focusing on those keeps her busy. Recently, “my office has evolved into an advanced dry eye clinic with an emphasis on eye aesthetics through IPL and RadioFrequency. I have added an associate doctor to the practice, and we continue to focus on our specialty of premier eyewear and personalized stylings.” Understandably, she does not like to be slowed down by things like: “1. IT/Tech issues. 2. Human resources and staffing. 3. Wearing multiple hats at the same time!” But she knows how to blow off steam when things get overwhelming. To unwind she works out, listens to music or podcasts, and spends time with family and friends.
