Harry Reid’s Sunglasses Set Off a Media Frenzy

Reptile’s Agamid gets its day in the spotlight.

Kim Kardashian took off all her clothes in an attempt to break the internet. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid only had to don a pair of sunglasses to create a major furor on the web. At a press conference this week, the Democratic senior Senator from Nevada sported a pair of “Wayfarer-like shades — the style immortalized by the Blues Brothers, by Tom Cruise in ‘Risky Business’ and by Don Henley’s hit ‘Boys of Summer,’” reported CNN, among numerous media outlets carrying the news. Actually, the glasses have been revealed as the Agamid model from Reptile. Reid, recovering from an eye injury sustained during a workout at home on New Year’s Day, made light of the fuss, telling reporters, “We’re working on my beauty here.”
