(PRESS RELEASE)What: The official opening celebration of the Lighthouse Guild Tech Center where people with vision loss can access the latest devices and where developers can test future innovations. Lighthouse Guild experts and clients will demonstrate devices and answer questions. There’ll also be tours and demos of a high-tech Smart Home where people who are visually impaired can experience the newest technology for managing their home setting, including voice activated appliances such as microwaves, ovens, and refrigerators, devices that can read labels on cans and adjust thermostats and more.
