Oklahoma Entrepreneur Says He Is Grateful to Optometry

Says his practice gave him the foundation for business success.

Optometrist Robert H. Zoellner, who began his professional life in 1991 with the opening of an optometry office in Tulsa, has branched out in several different directions, including horse-breeding, to become one of the Oklahoma city’s most visible entrepreneurs. But optometry remains his most enduring love, says the owner of Z66 Auto Auction, Rockin’ Z Ranch and Dr ZZZ’s Sleep Center, among other ventures. The optometry business “has given me the experience and the financial means to do everything else I have been able to accomplish,” he says. “It is so wonderful to help someone see better, your vision is such an important part of your life.”
