Dates Set for Transitions Academy 2023

(PRESS RELEASE) PINELLAS PARK, FL — Transitions has announced that Transitions Academy 2023 will be held from May 21 to 24, 2023 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, Fla. The event is one of the industry’s most well-recognized educational events.

Transitions Academy 2023 will provide industry professionals with the opportunity to expand their knowledge through expert presentations, inspiring guest speakers, and Transitions product and professional development workshops. The winners of the 2022 Transitions Innovation Awards will also be announced during the event.

Industry professionals who wish to attend Transitions Academy 2023 can do so through the following ways:

1. Become a Transitions Innovation Award Finalist – The awards are open to optical industry professionals, educators, retailers, optical laboratories and independent eyecare professionals and practices in the U.S. and Canada. The Transitions Innovation Awards categories include: 2022 Transitions Healthy Sight Ambassador (individual-only award), Retailer of the Year, Eyecare Practice of the Year, Channel Partner of the Year and Best in Training. 2. Ask Your Lens Supplier Representative – Industry professionals should let their Transitions lens supplier know they would like to register for Transitions Academy. Many lens suppliers are providing opportunities for customers to attend. In addition to the opportunity supplied by their lens supplier, two new programs are now offered:
   1. Practices enrolled in the Essilor Preferred Rewards program here can redeem their points for Transitions Academy registration and hotel.
   2. Many optical labs are also participating in The Road to Transitions Academy program here where every pair on Transitions lenses sold can earn points for Transitions Academy registration and hotel. Ask your lab representative or email cservice@transitions.com for more information.
3. Request a Spot / Nominate Someone to Attend – Interested industry professionals from North America can request an invitation (limited spaces are available) at TransitionsAcademy.com. Additional details about cost and arrangements will be provided.
