Vision West Partners with Adlens

Vision West has announced a partnership with eyewear manufacturer Adlens to make their line of unique instantly adjustable eyewear available to members.

“We are very excited to extend our product line and resources to Vision West and its members,” said Michael C. Ferrara, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman of Adlens.

“Adlens’ unique variable focus technology can help eye care professionals increase their second pair sales by offering the ideal back-up pair for all distances at a great price.”

Adlens variable focus eyewear is completely customizable based on the exact vision needs of the wearer. All of Adlens’ products line can be easily adjusted to any prescription by simply turning a dial at the frame’s temple.

In Adlens Adjustables and Emergensee product lines, two wave-shaped polycarbonate plates glide across one another when the dial is turned, adjusting the power until the wearer can see well. And Adlens’ John Lennon Collection and Hemisphere products use Fluid-Injection Technology where fluid is injected into an elastic membrane inside each lens, altering the power of the lens to the correct power.

Through this exclusive vendor partnership, Vision West members will have the opportunity to purchase Adlens eyewear through exclusive discounts. Additionally, Adlens will provide customized training and materials for eye care professionals and their staff, and can offer product presentations to groups of store and training managers. Additionally, with a qualifying minimum order, members will have access to a variety of Adlens merchandizing options to help create custom displays for their practices.

“We are excited to partner with Adlens to offer our members such a unique eyewear line to help them boost their incremental sales,” said Joseph Mallinger, OD, MBA, Vision West CEO and President. “In today’s ophthalmic world, it is important for eye care professionals to continually offer their patients the most cutting-edge products to allow themselves to stand out from the pack, and this partnership with Adlens will allow them to do just that.”
