(PRESS RELEASE) Pleiades award nominations now open: who’s the brightest star you know?

It’s time once again to nominate the “brightest star you know”. Each year, the OWA presents the Pleiades Award to an individual, male or female, who exemplifies a passion for promoting the leadership role of women in our industry. The recipient will be honored in New York City during Vision Expo East at the annual OWA Champagne Breakfast and Star Awards Ceremony.

In both her/his daily life and profession, the honoree of the Pleiades Award exemplifies the core principles of the OWA, including:

Outstanding leadership skills;
Mentor and trusted adviser to women in the optical industry;

Shares time and talent to Connect, Inspire, and Lead.

Please note: Current members of the board or former board members who have served during the last two years are not eligible for the award.
