(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Lighthouse Guild and the Foreseeable Future Foundation will unite as team #NoLimits on Sunday, May 5, 7:30 a.m., at the charity partner starting line of the 2024 TD Five Boro Bike Tour located at the Intersection of Franklin and Church Streets.
Teammates will include riders who are blind or visually impaired, staff, family members, friends, volunteers, and other supporters.
In addition to increasing awareness about the importance of eye and vision health, team #NoLimits will be riding to encourage support and the adoption of a healthy and active lifestyle through adaptive athletics for people who are blind or visually impaired.
Funds raised by the two organizations will be used to supplement its programs and services of vision health and rehabilitation, as well as sports and recreational programs that are designed for individuals with visual impairments.
Participating as a charity partner, team #NoLimits is comprised of 37 riders. Leading the team will be Kiana Glanton, Lighthouse Guild team co-captain and athlete who is visually impaired. And Griffin Pinkow, Foreseeable Future Foundation team co-captain and a Paralympian.
Team #NoLimits will be among the expected 32,000 participants riding through the five boroughs of New York City.
