(PRESS RELEASE) CORAL SPRINGS, FL – ABB Optical Group, released market data from its Digital Eye Lab (DEL) Network division showing significant year-over-year growth in the sale of prescription sun lenses.
DEL Network’s data shows that orders were up 25 percent in 2018 over 2017. In breaking down all orders placed in 2018, the data also showed a year-over-year increase of 30 percent for mirrored lenses, 30 percent for photochromic lenses, and 20 percent for polarized lenses.
Just in time for National Sunglasses Day on June 27, DEL Network also identified silver, blue and gold, respectively, as the three most popular colors ordered in polarized mirrored lenses.
