(PRESS RELEASE) LAKE FOREST, CA — Eyeporters has named Julie Chi as Vice President of Product and Business Management. In this newly created role Ms. Chi will be working on the company’s product development, design, and business management for the company while developing, implementing and overseeing a variety of activities to further strengthen Eyeporters’ vision of growth in the eyewear and accessories sector. In addition her focus will be to develop strategies for new distribution channels with creative and forward thinking product solutions.
Julie’s vast experience in the Optical Industry working for companies such as REM/DERIGO Eyewear, Prive Reveaux and Peepers has been the foundation for this new position. A well-known professional in the industry, Chi comes with established factory and business relationships. Her commitment to the company, product and team members is exemplary in the industry. “Bringing Julie on board with her vast domestic and international experience, along with her keen sense of entrepreneurship will be a great compliment to our current team.” said Eileen Estrada, founder and CEO .
Beth Schmit, vice president of Operations, adds “Julie’s experience and enthusiasm in product development, design, supply chain and customer relationships both in the optical and non optical industry is an addition instrumental in our growth as we look to expand our facilities with a design office in Bordeaux, France in 2024.”
