Investors Are Digging This Upstart Eyewear Label That’s Dedicated to Charitable Causes

The brand sells mainly through boutiques, but just launched a direct-to-consumer collection for the first time.

With backing from an investment firm, independent eyewear maker Article One has grown its brand and helped support various charitable causes along the way, Fashionista writes. The article explains how founder Wes Stoody launched the company during his senior year of college in an effort to help children who suffer from vitamin A deficiency, donating $2 from every pair of eyeglasses sold to the Hellen Keller Foundation.
