(PRESS RELEASE) There’s no better gift than the gift of education, and OVVO Optics announces a new program that honors the teachers and educators who continue to work hard every day form the next generation of leaders.
OVVO partnered with ABB Labs and provided teachers of the local school district of Waldwick, NJ, free eyewear to help ease the stress and eye strain they may experience while teaching online. Working with ABB Labs, OVVO’s lightweight frames were equipped with blue light lenses that help prevent repetitive eye strain, blurry vision, and dry eyes.
As much of the country remains shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, thousands of teachers continue to work from home, preparing lessons, video tutorials, and developing curriculum for their students. Blue light emitted from laptops, phones, and other device screens can be damaging to eyes with prolonged exposure.
