(PRESS RELEASE) BOCA RATON, FL & RANCHO CORDOVA, CA — Professional Eye Care Associates of America (PECAA) and VSP Vision announced the Limited-Time Enhancement of the VSP Vision Exam Rebate, which allows PECAA Max members to receive up to $15 per VSP commercial eye exam, has been extended through 2026. Previously scheduled to sunset on June 30, the enhancement will now continue through December, enabling doctors to receive more revenue from eye exams all year during ongoing economic uncertainty.
“The Vision Exam Rebate continues to be among PECAA’s most popular benefits and doctors have told us how much the extra rebate dollars mean to their practice success,” said PECAA President Jonathan Worrall. “Maintaining the rebate at its highest level of $15 through 2026 is a decision VSP Vision and PECAA reached to help practices continue building on their positive momentum as they plan for this year.”
Since the Vision Exam Rebate launched in July 2023, nearly 3,600 practices have benefitted from $80 million in additional revenue. Practices who were PECAA Max members by December 31, 2025, can receive up to $60,000 in Vision Exam Rebates and Rebate Enhancements in 2026. Those joining PECAA Max in 2026 can receive up to $30,000 through the program this year.
Rebate details, which do not include any spending requirements, can be found here.
“Throughout 2026, we’re continuing to double down on investments that support private practice doctors,” said VSP Vision Chief Provider and Industry Solutions Officer Michelle Skinner. “By extending the enhanced Vision Exam Rebate throughout the year, introducing simplified provider programs this month, and adding new practice resources, we’re delivering greater value and support to help practices thrive.”
PECAA Max members and non-members are invited to learn additional information about the Vision Exam Rebate, including how to qualify, as well as all the benefits of joining the PECAA Max community at pecaa.com.
