(PRESS RELEASE) WHAT:    Prevent Blindness, then nation’s leading eye health and safety nonprofit organization, will be hosting a Congressional Briefing, and free vision screening, with support from the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington, as part of this year’s World Sight Day activities. This event is sponsored by Horizon Therapeutics, Genentech and AbbVie.
World Sight Day, coordinated by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), aims to raise awareness of blindness and vision impairment as major global public health and development issues.
