It coincides with #GivingTuesday.
(Press Release) SAN RAFAEL, CA — #GivingTuesday, the global day dedicated to giving, is coming up on Nov. 28. For the second consecutive year, RestoringVision, a non-profit dedicated to helping people in need see clearly again, will be part of it and turning it into #GivingSightDay.
Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday connects diverse groups of individuals, communities and organizations around the world for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving.
On behalf of the 544 million people living with vision impairment due to the lack of access to reading glasses, RestoringVision is turning #GivingTuesday into #GivingSightDay. The goal is to raise $15,000 to help 25,000 people in need see clearly again.
Since 2003, RestoringVision has helped over 9 million people in more than 126 countries around the world. Watch RestoringVision’s impact video here. Funds raised during RestoringVision’s #GivingSightDay campaign will help expand their impact.
