Transitions Optical Names Henry Ford OptimEyes as the Winner of US Retailer of the Year Award

(PRESS RELEASE) Transitions Optical honored Henry Ford OptimEyes with the 2019 U.S. Retailer of the Year title, a category of the Transitions Innovation Awards program, during a recognition ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Transitions Academy 2020 in Orlando, FL.

“Not only did Henry Ford OptimEyes re-energize their team with Transitions lens sales, but they also attracted new millennial patients with Transitions Signature lenses style colors and Transitions XTRActive style mirrors,” said Drew Smith, director, North America Channels, Transitions Optical. “We applaud Henry Ford OptimEyes’ efforts to educate team members and patients about the value of Transitions lenses through unique training, branding and marketing. We congratulate Henry Ford OptimEyes on this well-deserved honor.”

Steve Mehok, director of operations at Henry Ford OptimEyes, accepted the award on behalf of the retailer at Transitions Academy.

During Transitions Academy, U.S. Retailer of the Year finalists Costco Optical and LensCrafters were also recognized for their commitment to the Transitions brand and improving patient vision.
