Founded by Dennis Ratinoff, OD, in 1971, University Optometry has built a reputation for delivering comprehensive eye care and improving quality of life for patients through uncompromised service and state-of-the-art technology.

A graduate of the UC Berkeley School of Optometry and United States Air Force veteran, Dr. Ratinoff has been practicing optometry for nearly 50 years. In addition to comprehensive eye exams, Dr. Ratinoff has extensive experience in treating diabetic eye diseases and co-managing cataract surgery patients, as well as pre- and post-operative care for Lasik surgery patients.

University Optometry will continue to operate under the same name. Additionally, the practice’s staff, Dr. Ratinoff, and his associate doctor will remain in their roles.
