(PRESS RELEASE) COLLEGEVILLE, PA — Eye Designs LLC, manufacturer of custom ophthalmic environments and optical display systems, has reached an agreement to acquire Fashion Optical Displays.
With 40-plus years in the eyecare industry, Fashion Optical was known for its expertise in space planning, manufacturing and interior design services for the eyecare professional. Richard Winig, co-president of Eye Designs, said, “Eye Designs has always had the utmost respect for Lori Estrada and the team at Fashion Optical and believes this purchase was a natural fit for our business model.”
Estrada has seen Eye Designs grow alongside her business for years and feels Eye Designs is the best fit to support her customer base.
“The past few years have not been easy,” said Matthew Kiraly, president of Fashion Optical Display. “We sustained tremendous damage to our headquarters and manufacturing facility from the camp fire in Paradise California in 2018. We are grateful and proud of our 40 years in the optical industry and want to thank all our customers for their continued support, and wish them all the best.”
Eye Designs looks forward to continuing the same level of service to Fashion Optical clients on future projects and “wishes the best of luck to Lori, Liz, Matt and the rest of the Fashion Optical team,” according to a press release.
