(PRESS RELEASE) SCOTTSDALE, AZ — GSRx, Inc. has named Ryan Burns and Michaela Matuska as the Midwest Territory Managers for accounts in the Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Illinois, and Southern Minnesota areas. Burns and Matuska will fill and expand the territory of the late GSRx Midwest Territory Manager Scott Bauserman.
Ryan Burns comes to GSRx with 18 years of industry experience after roles in Inside Sales, Customer Marketing, and Outside Sales.
“You could say my career has come full circle since a phone call from Dave [GSRx CEO], in the spring of 2004, with an opportunity for my first job in the industry,” said Burns. “I’m excited to re-connect with prior customers and friends as well as meet new customers; although I acknowledge this new opportunity came at an unimaginable expense. I’m passionate about delivering the best vision to as many patients as possible, which is a win for everyone.”
When he isn’t visiting offices, Ryan and his wife Dawn follow the exploits of their two sons Dylan and Austin as they continue chasing their dreams in college. A passion for competition means you will often find him on the golf course or cheering on Central Dutch Football, SCC Blackhawk Golf, the Iowa State Cyclones, Denver Broncos, and yes, even the Hawkeyes too.
Michaela Matuska joins GSRx with a lifetime of exposure to the optical world. Her professional career has included both inside and outside sales positions for optical manufacturers and distributors.
“Ironically, my mom started her career in optical working for Dave at Siouxland Labs at the same age I am today,” said Matuska, “so it feels very fitting for me to join the GSRx family! I pride myself on attention to detail and going above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I’m looking forward to getting to know all our customers and continue to provide the level of quality and satisfaction offices have come to expect as partners of GSRx.”

Outside of work, Michaela lives in Ankeny, Iowa, with her fiancé Zach and dog Laika. She enjoys anything and everything sports related (Go Cyclones!) as well as spending time at the lake. Michaela is in full wedding planning mode and looking forward to her wedding in November.
