(PRESS RELEASE) NORWALK, CT — IDOC announced that the company has earned Great Place to Work Certification for 2021. Great Place to Work is a global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership behaviors. According to Great Place to Work, 90% of IDOC employees consider IDOC a great place to work, compared to the average company, where only 59% are fully satisfied with the work environment. IDOC also ranked first among alliance members as ‘Very Satisfied” in research conducted by Jobson Research in late 2020. Both milestones confirm that the company’s “people first” culture is an important contributor to the positive experiences of both IDOC members, strategic partners, and employees.
“Every decision that we make for the business is informed by what is best for our people,” said Jill Johnson, IDOC VP of Human Resources. “Our cultural philosophy at IDOC is that if we take good care of our people, they will in turn take good care of our members, which leads to innovative solutions, greater levels of service, and member satisfaction, resulting in growth for our members, our people, and our company.”
Johnson considers the Great Place to Work Certification a natural extension of IDOC’s efforts to create a workplace that encourages collaboration from all parts of the organization. “This certification is recognition of the incredible work our people have put into our endeavor to always be a great place to work,” she said. “Without the continuous feedback from our people in how we can advance our organization, we could not have achieved this milestone.”
For IDOC CEO, Dave Brown, the ultimate benefit of IDOC’s recent Great Place to Work Certification is how that translates to exceptional service to its members. “From the very beginning, IDOC has focused on the dreams of independent practice owners,” he said. “We depend on our people to be responsive to our members and partners and are gratified that they consider their work to be valuable and important. Our first-place ranking in Jobson’s 2020 market research is a clear indication that IDOC employees are engaged in the rewarding work of supporting our members.”

Every organization — from a single location independent practice to the large companies in our industry — can benefit by setting their sights on becoming a great place to work.
