Oakley, NFL Strengthen Partnership With Focus on Youth Sports

Oakley has been an on-field partner and licensee with the NFL since 2019.

An All-Pro lineup of gridiron heroes are members of Team Oakley, including Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

So with the stars of today already in the fold, the industry leader in sports eyewear has turned its attention to the stars of tomorrow.

Oakley and NFL FLAG this week announced a partnership focused on youth athletes and improving the flag football experience. The agreement includes youth sports operator RCX Sports, which is the official partner of NFL FLAG.

“This strategic partnership with Oakley, a company whose mission of innovation and accessibility aligns strongly with ours, will allow RCX Sports to continue expanding flag football across the globe,” says Izell Reese, CEO of RCX Sports, in a press release. “By combining Oakley’s cutting-edge sports eyewear and accessories with the exceptional programs offered by NFL FLAG, we can provide flag athletes with the tools they need to enhance their performance and achieve their full potential.”

The partnership will feature Oakley’s sun and prescription eyewear, including newer eyewear styles designed with Oakley’s PrismTM Lens Technology, such as Oakley Resistor and Sutro Lite. The company touts the lens for its ability to enhance color and contrast.
