BRIDGEWATER, NJ – Bausch + Lomb has a new U.S. president.
In the role, Joseph Gordon will oversee the U.S. eyecare business, including its four business units: Vision Care, Consumer Health, Surgical and Pharmaceuticals. He’ll report to Joseph C. Papa, chairman and CEO of Bausch Health.
“Bausch + Lomb is an integral part of our business and the largest of the four Bausch Health segments, representing more than 50% of our revenues,” said Papa. “The expansion of Joe’s role reflects the company’s focus on driving growth through our continued transformation – from recently changing our name to Bausch Health and realigning our operating and reportable segments – and the opportunity to build upon Bausch + Lomb’s leadership in eye health as we continue to invest in this important core business. As we look to the next phase of growth for Bausch Health, I am confident that Joe’s strong management background and proven track record of success will further accelerate the growth of Bausch + Lomb, ultimately helping to improve the vision of patients.”
Gordon was most recently the president of Bausch + Lomb’s Consumer Health and Vision Care businesses.
